Our First Patrol to Combat the Illegal Seahorse Trawlers 2008

This Selection of Photos of what spurred MCC into direct action back in 2008. After watching the local Seahorse breeding areas that we were researching being decimated by Illegal Vietnamese Seahorse trawlers we took action to stop them. From that moment on together with the local community we did our best day and night to deter and stop illegal activities within the newly created conservation areas around Koh Koun and Koh Rong Samloem.
